O National Maritime Museum, agregado ao Observatório Astronómico de Greenwich, Inglaterra, leva a efeito a 27 de Maio uma palestra subordinada ao tema Observar Harrison: um Contacto Directo com o Segundo Cronómetro de Marinha.É a primeira vez em 50 anos que o célebre segundo cronómetro de Marinha de John Harrison será visto desmontado e montado, uma ocasião que não se repetirá no futuro próximo. Falará o Especialista Chefe em Horologia do Musedu, Jonathan Betts.

Observing Harrison : a Close Encounter with the Second Timekeeper
Hear Senior Specialist in Horology, Jonathan Betts, talk about the dismantling and studying of Harrison's second marine timekeeper, H2, and see the timekeeper itself undergoing the research. This will be the first time H2 has been apart for over 50 years, an operation which is unlikely to be repeated in the foreseeable future, and so a once in a lifetime opportunity. The evening includes a drinks reception and a guided tour of the other Harrison timekeepers.
